Boarding 

At Manhattan Cat Specialists, our feline-only boarding area and cat condos are designed to provide comfort and privacy in a calm and quiet facility. Our multiple-room boarding facility is temperature-controlled and well-ventilated. Boarding at our facility is ideal, especially if your cat has certain medical conditions (such as diabetes) that require medication. There will be a veterinarian and technicians to monitor your cat closely. Our feline facilities are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized between boarders.

Our boarding areas feature two types of cages – our standard cages (think of it as a “studio” apartment), and our cat condos (think of it as a “one-bedroom” apartment). The condos are perfect for 2 cats boarding together, or 1 cat that might want extra space to move around.

We recommend that you bring your cat's favorite food, treats, and any special bedding or toys with them to make the boarding experience as stress-free as possible. There may be an opportunity for your cat to have additional services (bath, grooming, dental cleaning, physical examination, etc.) if warranted. Please ask our staff about these extras and their associated costs.

Long-term boarding options are available as well. Please make reservations in advance, especially during the holiday season. We will also review your cat's vaccination history to make sure that everything is up to date prior to the start of the boarding visit.
